Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler bike has been spied on yet again. The test mule has been loaded with official touring accessories & spoked rims.
- The upcoming Scrambler bike from the joint venture is due for launch next year
- It will likely get a 350-400cc engine
- To be available in multiple variants
The Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler bike is definitely one of the most-awaited two-wheeler launches of next year. However, the joint venture has been testing it extensively in India for quite some time. One such test mule has spied on yet again but this time with loads of official accessories. The bike looks almost production-ready. Meanwhile, the spied test bike shows us crucial design details of the upcoming scrambler.
Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler Details
It is not the first time that the test mule has been spied on. However, there are some noticeable changes to the bike since it was last seen. It has been spotted on the outskirt of city traffic fitted with a bunch of official accessories. The design resembles a roadster but with an upright riding position. One can make out that its riding position shall be somewhat similar to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Meanwhile, the blacked-out bike has spoked rims. This can possibly mean that it will come in different variants. The previous bike was spotted with alloy wheels though.
Meanwhile, the rear end comprises an LED taillight with three luggage-carrying options. A top box above the taillight and two saddle bags. We suspect these will also be offered as official accessories once it gets launched. Additionally, the handlebar has knuckle guards & it is also braced. Feature-wise, it will get a digital-instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Maybe, it will feature riding modes as well but we can not be sure of it for now.
The various online reports are also suggesting that it will get a mid-size engine. Possibly somewhere between 350-400cc of engine capacity. This also means it will get liquid-cooling which has already been spied globally on test mules. We are anticipating that this engine will make peak power of somewhere around 35-40 bhp. Again, the picture will only get cleared once the bike nears its launch.
Verdict
Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler is expected to debut globally early next year. However, the expectations are that it will debut in India by the end of February 2023. Once launched, it will directly rival Yezdi Scrambler, Royal Enfield Scram 411, & Jawa 42.
