Let's take a closer look at the BMW CE02, a scooter that's creating quite a buzz. It's powered by a 2kWh battery, and you have the option to go for a single or dual battery setup. The scooter offers two riding modes: one with a 90km range and a speedy 95kmph top speed, and the other with a 45km range for those shorter trips. When it comes to the ride, the CE02 is equipped with USD forks, and adjustable rear shocks, and features a reliable braking system with a 239mm front disc and 220mm rear disc. All of this sits on 14-inch wheels, wrapped in 120/80 and 150/70 section tires.
Expected to launch in India soon, the CE02 might share its platform with other BMW developments. Built in collaboration with TVS in India, this scooter is not your typical budget commuter. The initial price is estimated to be around Rs 2.5 lakh, making it a competitor to the TVS X scooter. BMW is known for its bold approach to introducing innovative products, and the CE02 seems to follow suit.
Verdict
The BMW CE02 stands out as a compelling blend of style and performance in the electric scooter market, with cutting-edge features and a collaborative effort with TVS, signaling a significant step towards sustainable mobility.
