Citroen Aircross X Details

The teaser itself does not give out many details, but the addition of a new dark green colour is implied, given the colour theme of the clip. The Aircross will retain its core design, but we can expect perhaps some new designs for the alloy rims, and X badging on certain areas of the car.

On the inside, we can expect dual-tone black leatherette upholstery with green inserts, and there will be some new feature additions as well, such as green ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, cruise control, push-button start stop, an auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, a 360-degree camera and more. Additionally, we can also expect the new Cara AI assistant to be added too.
Under the hood, the Aircross X will retain the set of 1.2-litre nat-asp and turbo-petrol powertrains. The nat-asp unit produces 80.4bhp and 115Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual. The turbo-petrol unit pushes out 108bhp and 190Nm to 205Nm of torque, depending on whether you choose the 6-speed manual or the torque-converter automatic.
Verdict
The Aircross X is going to be the third car coming our way, as part of the new Citroen India 2.0 programme. The French car maker knows it has a huge task ahead of itself, and it needs to package its future offerings more sensibly.
