The bookings of the Citroen C5 Aircross can be done via dealerships as well as via the website. The carmaker has set a booking amount of Rs 50,000 for the C5 Aircross and the expected deliveries of the first batch will commence from June 30.

Sharing details on the variant line-up then the C5 Aircross is available in Feel and Shine. The latter brings in top of the line features like all-LED headlights, panoramic sunroof and powered tailgate which adds to the premiumness.
The USP of Citroen is the magic ride quality. What that means that the Citroen uses hydraulic bump stops which makes driving on bad surfaces an easier task. The SUV feels confident at higher speeds and takes the small to medium bump easily.
Powering the C5 Aircross is a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This four-cylinder BS6 compliant unit churns out 177 of power with a healthy torque of 400 Nm which is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. You do get paddle shifters on the steering column which basically helps you control the SUV when you want. The ARAI certified mileage is impressive at 18.6 kmpl.

As far as the pricing goes then the C5 Aircross is expected to start from Rs 25 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. India is a price-sensitive market and we feel that if it starts with a premium of Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi then it might create a better mark on the audience.
