Citroen has had a rather complicated journey in India, beginning its innings with the premium C5 Aircross, and then moving towards the C3, the eC3, Aircross and its latest product, the Basalt. While its cars have been slow-sellers, Citroen has been working on making its cars for value-for-money for its buyers by adding more features and rolling out certain schemes.
The French car maker has now announced a new warranty programme for all its cars, except the eC3, and before we go any further, make sure to join the 91wheels WhatsApp Community to keep up with the latest news and updates!

Citroen's New Warranty Programme
The French car maker says that its cars will now come with a standard warranty that lasts for three years or 1 lakh kilometres. This includes the C3, the Aircross, the C5 Aircross, and the Basalt, and Citroen says that the all-electric eC3 will not receive this warranty programme.
Shishir Mishra, Brand Director, Citro뮠India, said: Citro뮙s mission has always been to provide Indian customers with vehicles that combine innovative design, comfort, and reliability. By introducing a 3-year/100,000-kilometer warranty as standard, were not just reaffirming our confidence in our product quality but also enhancing the ownership experience for our valued customers in India.
As for its future plans, Citroen has not announced anything. However, the car maker may possibly showcase the new C5 Aircross that is sold globally, although the chances are slim.

This may just be a small step, but a welcome one by Citroen, as it has work cut out when it comes to aftersales support. The car maker is building its service network steadily, and we can only hope to see more Citroen cars on the road with steps like this.
