Earlier this month, Triumph India has announced the pricing for its latest addition to the Indian market, the Speed 400. The introductory price for the motorcycle is set at Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the initial 10,000 customers, with a subsequent price of Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). Following the launch, a debate regarding the on-road price emerged, with certain reports suggesting it exceeded Rs 3 lakh. However, the brand has now disclosed the on-road price of the motorcycle.

Triumph Speed 400 - On Road Price
The manufacturer has revealed the Triumph Speed 400's on-road cost. The motorcycle's on-road pricing in Delhi will be Rs 2.68 lakh, which includes the ex-showroom price of Rs 2.33 lakh, road tax of Rs 18,640, registration fee of Rs 530, handling fees of Rs 1,500 and insurance of Rs 14,260. It's significant to note that variances in registration fees and state-specific road taxes may cause the on-road price to vary between cities.
The Speed 400 sports a striking look that was influenced by the timeless appeal of Triumph motorbikes. Features like a single-seat layout, USD front forks, and an aluminium exhaust highlight its alluring roadster design. The bike rides on elegant 17-inch alloy wheels and is further complemented with sophisticated bar-end mirrors. It features an adjustable mono-shock at the back for better ride quality, a switchable traction control system for additional safety, and a semi-digital instrument cluster to improve comfort and convenience.

Triumph Speed 400 Engine Specifications
Powering the motorcycle is a liquid-cooled 398 cc engine, delivering an output of 39.5 bhp of power and 37.5 Nm of maximum torque. This robust engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox for smooth and efficient gear shifting.
