Verdict: Price hikes are quite a regular activity in the Indian automotive industry. Depending upon a number of variables, these price increments are often a result of increased input costs, which are then transferred onto the customers by these minor price revisions. Multiple price hikes over a period of time can lead to a massive jump in the sticker price of a vehicle. The automobile brands should introduce minor improvements and updates to the vehicles with every price revision in order to fully justify the higher price tag.
