The forthcoming hybrid system of the Hyundai Creta will ingeniously leverage a hybridised version of Hyundai's familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, a similar approach seen in its sibling, the Kia Seltos. This addition will complement the existing engine lineup: the spirited 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol; the punchy 160hp, 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol; and the efficient 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel.
