The Hyundai Creta needs no introduction, and alongside most other models in its lineup, the Korean car maker has hiked prices of its best-selling model. Most variants are now costlier, with the difference being Rs 11,000 to Rs 13,000 depending on the variant, but a few of them continue with unchanged pricing.

Hyundai Creta Price Hike Details
The petrol variants of the Hyundai Creta are now costlier by Rs 11,000, with the base E variant now costing Rs 11.10 lakh, as opposed to its earlier price tag of Rs 10.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Similarly, the diesel variants of the Creta are now available with a price hike of Rs 13,000. Certain variants continue with unchanged prices, such as the S diesel MT, SX (O) diesel AT, and SX (O) diesel AT dual-tone.
The Creta continues to be available with a choice of three powertrains. There is the 1.5-litre, nat-asp powertrain paired to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. You also get a 1.5-litre diesel, also paired to either a 6-speed manual or a torque-converter, and there is also the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with a 7-speed DCT.

More recently, Hyundai also launched the Creta EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, with prices ranging between Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 24.37 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
Verdict
Hyundai may have hiked the prices of most of its cars, but this should not prove to be a problem, given how feature-packed its cars are, and they also come with the promise of a strong service network.
