Hyundai Venue Spied Testing

The Hyundai's popular sub-compact SUV has been spied testing on the highway. It has been spotted multiple times but the latest spy shots are from South Korea. The test mule hints about the boxy design with more rugged and modern aesthetics. However, some of the notable changes from the current outgoing model include a redesigned front grille, split LED headlamps and tweaked bumper. At the front, the grille appears larger and might feature bold rectangular inserts, giving the SUV a more commanding presence. Moving to the side, the test mule seems to sport freshly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, possibly complemented by bigger wheel claddings, while details remain under wraps. Meanwhile, the rear end might feature refreshed LED taillamps with a spoiler.

The Outgoing Model

While the interiors remain under wraps, Hyundai is expected to offer a revamped cabin with plenty of features. The interior upholstery might get a better theme along with ambient lighting. Several anticipated features include touchscreen infotainment, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats. The Venue might borrow some features from its elder siblings Creta and Alcazar. Meanwhile, on safety, it is expected to offer ADAS level 2, which includes features such as blind spot detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control.

Powertrains

The second-gen Hyundai Venue is expected to continue with the same engine options as the outgoing model.
