Kawasaki India is going to introduce a new motorcycle on upcoming September 25. The possibility is that it might be the W175 or Z400.
Kawasaki India is going to take everyone by surprise on the upcoming 25 September. The Japanese bike manufacturer has sent invites to the media. The invites embrace the words "Block Your Date". However, with no additional information regarding this upcoming model we proceed ahead. We are speculating that the new bike launch is either of the W175 or Z400.

The W175 test mules have already been spied on for quite some time in India. However, if this happens, Kawasaki will enter the commuter segment in India. How? Well, the W175 is a very generic product. It is already on sale in the Asian markets. Embracing the simple and functional design; it aims to make the daily commute economical. Overseas, the W175 comes with a 177cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This unit makes 13 PS of peak power & 13.2 Nm of peak torque. Even a gearbox is a 4-speed unit.
However, if the W175 is launched it will become the most affordable product from the brand in India. We expect that its pricing will be around Rs 1.75 lakh. Yes, that's a bit on the higher side but the offering will constitute a lot of Japanese pedigree in it.
Meanwhile, we can not deny the possibilities of the Z400 as well. Why? Because the Ninja 400 is already on sale in India. Kawasaki already knows that its best-selling products are the naked sports bikes like the Z900. A smaller capacity Z400 makes complete sense according to the market standards. In fact, the rivals like BMW G 310 R & KTM Duke 390 are already doing well.
However, if it is the Z400, expect the launch price to go as high as Rs 3.5 lakh. This is because the Ninja 400 is already priced at Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. So, tell us what you think about this upcoming model from Kawasaki by commenting down below.
