KTM Announces Great Ladakh Adventure Tour Season 3 From Aug 12

KTM has officially announced the commencement of the third season of the Great Ladakh Adventure Tour. The bike manufacturer is gearing up to kick off this exciting tour on August 12, 2023. However, for this season's tour, KTM will select only 30 passionate riding enthusiasts to be part of this extraordinary adventure. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of exploring the captivating landscapes and challenging terrains of Ladakh on their KTM bikes.

KTM Adventure Tour Details

In the third season of the KTM Adventure Tour, participants will have the opportunity to embark on a thrilling new route that includes the addition of Zanskar Valley. However, before joining the tour, all participants will be required to undergo training at the Adventure Academy. This specialized academy will equip riders with essential skills and techniques necessary for navigating through challenging terrains at an elevation of 14,000ft.

The tour's new route offers an exciting and diverse range of landscapes, including Tarmac, Hills, Dry Riverbeds, Sand Dunes, Slush, Gravel, Mud, River Crossings, Forests, and Twisties. Riding through such varied terrains promises an experience. Simultaneously, it also tests the riders' abilities and provides them with a thrilling experience amidst the picturesque settings of Zanskar Valley.

KTM Ladakh Tour: Price And Amenities

The package encompasses various essential services and features, ensuring an incredible and worry-free adventure experience:

1. All Permits: Necessary permits for the expedition are part of the package.
2. Adventure Insurance: Riders will be covered with Adventure Insurance, providing coverage of up to Rs. 5 Lac for the entire duration of the tour.
3. Accommodation: Accommodation on a double-sharing basis at a campsite, guesthouse, or hotel, depending on availability.
4. Meals: Meals from Day 1 to breakfast on the last day, excluding Day 1 and Day 11 meals, which are subject to the hotel's reporting time.
5. Service Support: Throughout the journey, a KTM company-trained mechanic is available for service support, ensuring quick resolution of any technical issue.

The adventure tour traverses through picturesque landscapes, immersing themselves in the beauty of Manali, Jispa, Leh, Kargil, and Padum. Additionally, the itinerary takes them through renowned destinations like Gata Loops, More Plains, Pangong TSO, Zanskar, and Shinku La. Moreover, with safety as a top priority, a dedicated paramedic ambulance and a backup vehicle accompany the riders
