Mahindra Thar Roxx
The Thar Roxx has become the first ladder-frame chassis car to secure a five-star rating at the Bharat NCAP. The newest Thar sibling scored 31.09 out of 32.00 points in adult occupancy safety, and 45.00 out of 49.00 points in child occupancy safety. While overall protection has been rated as good, protection to the chest and knee regions of the driver have been rated as adequate in the frontal offset deformable barrier test.
Although the car maker sent the AX5L and the MX3 variants for testing, these ratings are applicable to all variants of the Thar Roxx. The AX5L variant comes with six airbags as standard, along with parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, seat belts for all passengers, seat belt reminders, hill-hold and hill-start assist, vehicle dynamic control, traction control, and a Level 2 ADAS suite with lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision assist, and adaptive cruise control among other things.
The MX3 variant misses out on the ADAS suite, front parking sensors, and the tyre pressure monitoring system, but it still comes equipped with all the necessary electronic aids.

Mahindra XUV 3XO

The AX7L and the MX2 variants of the XUV 3XO have been tested, but the ratings still apply to all the variants. The MX2 comes with six airbags as standard, along with seat belts for all passengers, seat belt reminders, electronic stability control, and reverse parking sensors, to name a few. The AX7L additionally packs in a level-2 ADAS suite, along with a 360-degree camera with surround-view, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
Mahindra XUV 400
The XUV 400 continues to be around, and it has scored 30.38 out of 32.00 points in adult occupancy safety, along with 43.00 out of 45.00 points in child occupancy safety. The XUV 400 performs similarly to the Thar Roxx, offering good protection overall, and adequate protection to the driver's chest and knee regions.
Similar to the other two cars, these ratings also apply to all the variants of the XUV400. The electric SUV comes with a rear-view camera with adaptive guidelines, six airbags, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and ESP, to name a few.
