Unveiled at the 2023 auto expo, Maruti Suzuki Fronx is all set for an official price unveil and market launch in the coming months. The compact crossover SUV has already received more than 5,500 bookings and is now available at the NEXA dealerships for customer engagement. Maruti Suzuki Fronx will be sold in two engine options i.e. a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1 litre turbo petrol. Tata Punch gets only 1 engine option i.e. a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol. Also, Maruti Fronx gets 3 transmission options i.e a 5-speed Manual, a 5-speed AMT automatic, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Maruti Suzuki Fronx vs Tata Punch: Safety
Tata Punch is one of the few Indian cars with a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. Not just on adult protection, but for child protection too, Punch scored a 4-Star safety rating. This makes Punch an extremely safe family car. On the other hand, Maruti Fronx is a new product and is yet to go through any crash tests, though it may get crash tested by Global NCAP in the future.
