Hyundai Aura CNG E Trim Launched
As the base model, the Hyundai Aura E trim offers a basic set of functional elements that you expect an entry-level model to offer. It comes with halogen headlights and turn indicators mounted on the front fenders, but it lacks fog lights. It does feature LED tail lights but that's about it. The Aura E CNG variant is equipped with 14-inch steel wheels and includes black ORVMs and door handles. This basic set is courtesy of the base character of the model that cuts down its price point to a more affordable limit.
As the base trim, it lacks some of the advanced features found in higher-spec models. It comes with an analog drivers display featuring a central multi-information display (MID), manual air conditioning, a cooled glovebox, front power windows, and a 12V charging socket. For safety, it includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminders for all seats, and rear parking sensors. The cabin features a grey and beige color scheme, with seats upholstered in beige fabric. While the seats have fixed headrests, they are equipped with 3-point seatbelts which is a good boost in terms of safety standpoint. But this is all that it gets.
Engine Details
The new CNG variant of the Hyundai Aura is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine, which is mated solely to a five-speed manual transmission. In petrol mode, the engine produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, while in CNG mode, it delivers 68 bhp and 95 Nm. The Aura CNG boasts a claimed fuel efficiency of 28.4 km/kg. Interestingly, it comes with a dual CNG cylinder set-up that adds practical boot space with a flat floor.
The Hyundai Aura E CNG trim is priced at Rs 7.49 lakh. It competes with models such as the Tata Tigor, Maruti Dzire, and Honda Amaze.
