Aprilia Storm 125 BS6 is the most affordable Aprilia scooter currently on sale in India. The Aprilia Storm 125 and the SR 125 are almost identical scooters. Both the Aprilias are based on the same platform, have similar hardware, features and get the same powerplant too. However, the Storm 125 is around 6,000 rupees cheaper than the SR 125. It is because it gets a different paint scheme, smaller tyres and no disc brake.
Powering the Storm 125 and the SR 125 is a BS6-compliant 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 9.92 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.6 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine is now fuel-injected and comes mated to a CVT gearbox. The BS6 Aprilia Storm 125 is priced at Rs. 86,738 while the SR 125 BS6 is priced at Rs. 92,181. 4. Vespa Notte 125 and VXL/SXL 125 BS6

Vespa Notte 125 is the most affordable Vespa in India. The Vespa scooters are famous for their classic Italian design. The Notte 125 is offered in a single matte black paint scheme while the SXL and VXL get funky colour schemes and looks really classy. The Notte 125 gets drum brakes at both the ends while the VXL and the SXL also gets an optional front disc brake.
The 125cc Vespas are powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It churns out 9.92 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.6 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. Aprilia SR 160 is a very sporty scooter. It is a preferred choice among the scooter enthusiasts in India. The SR 160 gets a very sporty design language, punchy performance and good hardware too. It gets telescopic forks at the front and a spring-loaded shock-absorber at the rear. The braking duties are performed by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. Also, it is one of those very few scooters in India that gets an anti-lock braking system (ABS) too.
Powering the new Aprilia SR 160 ABS is a BS6-compliant 160cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, three-valve, fuel-injected engine. The powertrain churns out 11.01 PS of power at 7600 RPM and 11.6 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a CVT gearbox. Aprilia SR 160 ABS is available in three variants. 2. Vespa VXL/SXL 149 BS6

The Vespa VXL 150 and SXL 150 recently got a BS6 update in India. With the BS6 update, the company has renamed its numeric suffix and now it's called the SXL 149 and the VXL 149. The scooter has a retro design language with funky colour shades on offer. It gets disc brake at the front, drum at the rear and a single-channel ABS too. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and spring-loaded shockers at the rear.
The new Vespa VXL 149 and SXL 149 is powered by a BS6-compliant 149cc, three-valve, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It churns out 10.46 PS of power at 7600 RPM and 10.6 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine is coupled to a CVT gearbox. The BS6 Vespa VXL 149 is priced at Rs. 1,22,664 while the SXL 149 is priced at Rs. 1,26,650. All prices adhere to Ex-showroom Delhi.
Mind you, this isn't an article on the BS6 price list of Vespa and Aprilia scooters. But, all the scooters included in our listicle belongs to the Piaggio Group only. Piaggio launched the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Edition in India at the 2016 Auto Expo. This one of a kind gearless scooter was launched with a hefty price tag of Rs. 12.05 lakhs, Ex-showroom. Only three units of this Limited Edition scooter was introduced in our market, out of which 1 is already sold and 2 are yet to get a prospective owner. It is now getting a hefty discount of 3 lakh rupees and is currently priced at Rs. 9 lakhs, Ex-showroom.
The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Edition was launched by the company back then to celebrate the companys 130 years of history. It is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that delivers 12.7 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. This ultra-premium scooter is also equipped with ASR traction control system and gets disc brakes at both the ends with dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).
