BMW R 1300 GS Adventure: Details
We have already spoken about the R 1300 GS Adventure in detail elsewhere on the website. However, let's go through the details of the motorcycle briefly. The GS Adventure looks a lot bulkier than its predecessor, and that's mainly due to the bulbuous 30-litre fuel tank and its extensions. Based on the regular R 1300 GS, the Adventure retains the Evo Telelever and Paralever suspension with electronic adjustability.
The 1300cc, twin-cylinder boxer engine has been retained, producing 143bhp at 7750rpm and 149Nm of torque at 6500rpm. While it gets a 6-speed gearbox as standard, the GS Adventure will be the first Beemer to get the new Automated Shift Assistant as well. However, whether or not this automatic options comes here remains to be seen.

Verdict
With the updated S 1000 RR and the R 1300 GS Adventure, BMW Motorrad is set to attract quite a lot of attention to its stall at the 2025 Auto Expo. The S 1000 RR may not have been changed mechanically, but it remains a very potent bike nonetheless. Meanwhile the R 1300 GS Adventure takes things up a notch with its abilities both on and off the road.
