New Honda Amaze: What To Expect?
The new Amaze obviously gets an all-new design treatment, with inspiration and cues taken from the Elevate and the City. The large grille has been inspired by what we've seen on the Elevate, and the sleek headlight design takes inspiration from the City. A large chrome strip connects the headlights and runs above the grille. Along with this, the sculpted treatment of the front bumper and the fog lamp housing further makes us think this would be an imposing, sharper-looking compact sedan.
Not much can be said about the profile for now, but Honda will offer multiple alloy rims, and there are likely to be cues of the City. At the rear, the sleek tail lights are akin to the City, while the bumper gets a clean but sharp treatment.
Of course, these are just design sketches, and we can expect things to change a lot more with the actual car. However, this is just a way to give us an idea of what's coming our way.
Honda has also shown us a sketch of the interiors, and there are a few interesting takeaways. The instrument cluster will be a twin-dial unit, likely inspired by the City, and if you look in close enough, there appears to be an icon for what is likely a lane assist function. This suggests Honda is planning to equip the new Amaze with an ADAS suite.
Some other interesting bits include a wireless charging pad that can be turned on and off, similar to what we've seen on the Elevate, and it is also likely to come with a floating infotainment touch screen, push-button start, cruise control, a USB charging port, a port for wired smartphone connectivity, and automatic air-conditioning among other things.

Verdict
With the upcoming third-gen Amaze and the newly updated Dzire, things are getting interesting in the compact sedan segment. Honda is likely going to equip the Amaze with features that make it a standout offering in its segment, but the Japanese car maker has a mixed history when it comes to pricing.
