The Yamaha R3, characterized by its full-faired design, draws inspiration from the aesthetics of larger Yamaha motorcycles. In contrast, the MT-03 represents the stripped-down, streetfighter version of the R3, providing riders with a more upright and relaxed riding posture.
Under the hood, both the Yamaha R3 and MT-03 share identical powertrains. Propelled by a 321cc parallel-twin engine, these bikes deliver 41 BHP at 10,750 rpm and 29.6 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm, all managed through a 6-speed gearbox.
Ensuring a smooth ride, both motorcycles feature an inverted telescopic fork in the front and a mono-shock in the rear. Braking capabilities are handled by a 298 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm rotor at the rear. This combination of design elements and shared performance features position the R3 and MT-03 as compelling choices for enthusiasts who have been waiting for quite sometime now.
