Nissan India is close to re-launching its upcoming SUV, the Nissan X-Trail in India. It will be the second Nissan offering in India after the Magnite sub-compact SUV. After being discontinued in 2014, the X-Trail is now set to make a hot comeback in India. Also, the brand will open booking windows for the upcoming SUV on 26 July 2024. Nissan X-Trail Design
The all-new X-Trail is going to be a head-turner on the roads because of its aggressive stance. It features LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, UV cut glasses, roof rails, shark fin antenna, PVC Center console and door armrest. The X-Trail also gets roof rails and a retractable and removable tonneau cover.
Nissan X-Trail Features
The Nissan X-Trail is now confirmed to arrive with features such as an 8-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrumental console, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, the SUV will also get a panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake, cruise control, Auto headlamps, rearview mirror, and touchscreen sensor Door handle. The SUV also gets smart features such as moving object detection and around-view mirror.
Convenience features of the all-new X-Trail include a rear defogger, paddle shifter, wireless charging pad, tilt and telescopic adjustment, automatic dimming IRVM, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers and much more.
Safety Features
On the safety front too, the Nissan X-Trail has much more to offer. It gets 7 airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control, traction control, front and rear parking sensors, and disc brakes on all four wheels. Apart from this, you also get emergency stop signals, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), and front and rear parking sensors.
Engine Specs
The Nissan X-Trail will source its power from a 1.5L variable Compression Turbo petrol engine. It comes paired with XTRONIC CVT that churns out 163 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. Notably, the powerhouse on offer is the world's first prod-spec variable compression turbo petrol engine. The India-spec X-Trail will be a 2WD model. There are twin tube shock absorbers at both ends for handling suspension duties.
