Renault has just introduced the Urban Night limited editions for its popular models - the Kiger, Kwid, and Triber. This exclusive variant is set to be produced in extremely limited quantities, with only 300 units available for each model. The key attraction of the Urban Night edition is its striking new black exterior finish, accompanied by tasteful silver accents on various parts, including the front and rear bumpers, boot lid, and doors. Furthermore, Renault has incorporated several additional features to enhance the overall appeal of these models.

One notable feature of the Kiger and Triber Urban Night versions is the inclusion of a camera-based 9.66-inch inside rearview mirror (IRVM), typically found in vehicles from higher segments. This technology is sure to enhance the driving experience and safety of these models.

Both engine choices come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, but the regular petrol version features an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), while the turbo-petrol variant is equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
Similarly, the Kwid and Triber also feature a 1.0-litre petrol engine, with the Kwid producing 68hp and 91Nm of torque and the Triber delivering 72hp and 96Nm of torque. Both models offer 5-speed manual transmissions, along with the convenience of AMT gearbox options.
Pricing
As for pricing, Renault has stated that the Urban Night versions of the Kiger and Triber will be available at an additional cost of Rs 14,999 over their respective top-tier variants. In contrast, the Kwid Urban Night edition comes with a price increment of Rs 6,999 compared to its highest trim level.

In the competitive Indian market, the Renault Kiger is pitted against formidable rivals such as the Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis, with prices ranging from Rs 6.33 lakh to Rs 8.97 lakh. The Kwid, with a price range of Rs 4.69 lakh to Rs 6.32 lakh, faces off primarily against the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10. The Triber, priced between Rs 6.33 lakh and Rs 8.97 lakh, holds a unique position in its segment, with no direct competitors.
