Revolt Motors on Thursday announced a white color scheme for its electric RV400 motorcycle. As seen in recent times every automotive industry is working towards the production of its electric range. As the fuel prices are getting unaffordable, people have started making a shift towards the electric segment. A wide variety of two-wheelers and four-wheelers are now available in the market at subsidised prices.
It is expected that more electric vehicles will hit the Indian market very soon, therefore Revolt Motors acted smart and launched the RV400 in 2019. Ultraviolette, another electric manufacturer is ready to launch its F77 which will be the fastest electric motorcycle in India.
Revolt will soon commence fresh bookings for its RV400 which will now be available in three color schemes - Rebel Red, Cosmic Black, and The new White Livery which might look like the existing Rebel Red.
Revolt has not announced any other information except the introduction of its new color scheme which states that the bike will carry the same specs as before. RV400 is mounted by a 3kW electric motor. It derives energy from a 72V, 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery.
RV400 is capable of producing 5 kW of power and 54 Nm of peak torque. Revolt has claimed the top speed of the bike to be 85 kmph and also has three riding modes - Eco, City and Sport with a quoted range of 156 km on a single charge in Eco mode.
The other two ride modes, city and sports mode, claim a range of 120km and 90km on a single charge. The battery gets fully charged within 4.5 hours using a 15A socket. RV400 was not much sold in the market may be due to reliability issues but the bike is no less than a sporty commuter.
Revolt has installed inverted forks upfront and a mono-shock at the rear with screw-type preload adjustability. The bike is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and also has 240mm disc brakes on both ends with CBS as standard.
