The new Superb, along with the Octavia RS are expected to comehe optional head-up display, a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit digital cluster, and smart dials for the A/C with an integrated display. in as CBUs, and there seems to be a lot of chatter around Skoda bringing back diesels with the new Superb. The Czech car maker is yet to say anything on that front officially, but this will be a huge moment for those who have missed Skoda's diesel engines in all these years.
Similar to the Kodiaq, the new Superb also gets an interior revamp, with familiar bits such as the 13-inch infotainment touch screen, the optional head-up display, a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit digital cluster, and smart dials for the A/C with an integrated display. Skoda Octavia RS
The Octavia RS 245 was also on display at the Expo, and this one was the fourth-generation facelifted model that is on sale globally. It gets sharper and more sportier design elements, along with the inclusion of black elements replacing the usual chrome bits. Packing a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, the Octavia RS 245 puts out 268bhp and 370Nm of torque, while paired to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
Skoda Elroq
The Elroq is Skoda's newest EV on the global scale, and while nothing is confirmed yet regarding an India launch, the Czech car maker is understood to be evaluating the Elroq for a possible launch in the near future. It is the first Skoda EV to be built on the Modern Solids design language, featuring the split headlamp design, the new slim panel on the nose, and the Skoda lettering.
The Elroq is built on the MEB platform, which is also shared by the Audi Q4 e-tron, and as such it gets three battery pack options globally; a 52kWh unit, a 63kWh unit, and an 82kWh unit. It remains to be seen which one Skoda decides to bring to India.
The interiors of the Elroq also feature Modern Solid design elements, featuring a new steering wheel, and there are also plenty of 'Simply Clever' bits present as well.
Skoda Vision 7S
The Vision 7S Concept previews Skoda SUVs from the future, and there will be a production-version based on this concept, which will break cover in 2026. The Vision 7S comes with the new Modern Solid design language, and a lot of its influence can be seen on the Elroq electric SUV. We can expect similar treatment on the outside and on the interiors of the new production SUV based on the Vision 7S when it comes out in 2026.
