Altroz 8 Variants Discontinued And 2 Variants Introduced
Tata Motors has decided to discontinue eight variants of its popular Altroz hatchback. The discontinued trims include the petrol XZ Plus, XZ Plus Dark Edition, XZ Plus i-Turbo, XZ Plus i-Turbo Dark Edition, XZA Plus, and XZA Plus Dark Edition. In addition, the diesel variants XZ Plus and XZ Plus Dark Edition will no longer be available.
To freshen up the Altroz lineup, Tata Motors has introduced two new premium variants - Tata Altroz XM and XM(S). The price for these is Rs. 6.90 lakhs and Rs. 7.35 lakhs, respectively (ex-showroom). The XM(S) variant comes with the addition of an electric sunroof.

TATA Altroz: XM And XM(S) Notable Features
Both new variants, Altroz XM and XM(S), have a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine with manual transmission. Altroz XM offers attractive features like steering-mounted controls, a height-adjustable driver's seat, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, and stylish 16-inch wheels. XM(S) version includes all these features plus an electric sunroof.
Tata Motors has brought exciting changes to the Altroz 1.2 petrol manual versions. The XE variant now offers rear power windows, remote keyless entry, and follow-me-home headlights for added convenience. Meanwhile, the XT trim has been upgraded with a height-adjustable driver's seat, sleek 16-inch Hyperstyle wheels, and a rear defogger, enhancing comfort.
The Top competitors for Tata Altroz are the Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
