Tata Motors is the market leader in India for affordable electric four-wheelers. In India, the brand sells two electric vehicles, and the price of its EV lineup has just increased. Tata Motors recently increased the price of the Tigor EV by Rs 25,000 across the line-up, bringing the price to between Rs 12.24 lakh and Rs 13.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Tigor EV is the most affordable electric four-wheeler in India.
Tata Tigor EV Old vs New Price
Previously, the prices of Tigor EV were between Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) but after the price hike across the range, the new price brings it at Rs 12.24 lakh to Rs 13.24 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Tigor EV is available in three models: XE, XM, and XZ+.

The Tigor EV is powered by Tata's Ziptron technology, which consists of an IP67-rated 26kWh liquid-cooled battery pack supplying power to an electric motor. This configuration produces 74 bhp power and 170 Nm of peak torque, with a range of 306 kilometers on a single charge. Utilizing a conventional wall charger, the battery could be recharged from 0 to 80 percent in 8.5 hours, while using a fast charger would take 60 minutes.
A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a Harman audio system with four speakers and four tweeters, auto climate control, a cooled glovebox, a rear-view camera, a digital instrument dashboard, auto-folding ORVMs, projector headlamps, and more are among the features of the electric car. A rear-view camera, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, auto door locks, hill descent control, and other features are included in the Tata Tigor EV safety package.
