Triumph Motorcycle unveiled the Rocket R 221, along with the Rocket 3 GT 221, Street Twin EC1, and the Gold Line Edition, at the recently held EICMA, 2021.
Triumph Motorcycles have scheduled the launch of the limited edition Rocket 3 R 211 in India on 21st December. This special edition motorcycle is named after the 221 Nm torque output that the bike boasts, which is the highest on any production 2.5-L motorcycle produces. It was unveiled at the recently held EICMA, 2021, alongside three more limited edition motorcycles, all of which are now listed on the Triumph Indian website. However, prices have not been disclosed yet for all the models.
Being a limited edition bike, the Rocket 3 R 221 gets special decals on the fuel tank, with a special focus on the number 221. Other noticeable numbers include the engine power and torque figures, bore and stroke size. The motorcycle gets a Red Hopper base paint on the fuel tank, but the fly-screen, side panels, rear section, radiator cowls, and headlamp cowls are dipped in Sapphire Black Colour. The changes are mostly limited to styling revisions, mechanically this limited edition Triumph Rocket remains the same.

The Triumph Rocket 3 R 221 retains the same inline-3 cylinder engine that produces 167 Ps of power and 221 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and ride-by-wire control. Suspension duties at the front are handled by Showas 47 mm upside-down fork suspension, with 120 mm travel. The rear wheels get Showas fully adjustable, mono-shock suspension with remote hydraulic pre-load adjuster, and 107 mm of travel. It rides on 150/80 R17 wheels at the front with 320 mm dual-disc brakes and 4-Piston Brembo brakes. The rear rides on 240/50 R16, with 300 mm, single-disc, 4-piston Brembo brakes.
Feature-wise, the Rocket 3 R 221 gets a multi-functional TFT instrument digital speedometer, with 4 driving modes Rain, Road, Sport, and Rider (Personal) configurations. It also gets Triumphs Connectivity system, which gets you Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, phone and music configuration settings.
