TVS recently launched its all-new 125cc motorcycle - Raider. It is a sporty and powerful commuter in its segment. The bike is built on the latest advanced technology and carries enhanced engine performance. Here is a drag race conducted between TVS Raider 125 and Honda SP 125 to see which one is better and more powerful in terms of performance.
The just-launched TVS Raider is a street naked motorcycle that flaunts a wicked presence on roads with its aggressive looks and premium features. On the other hand, Honda SP 125 is a bike that comes with advanced technology, advanced style and advanced comfort and conveniences.
TVS Raider is powered by a 125cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder 3-Valve petrol engine that is capable of producing 8.37 kW of maximum power at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm, Honda SP 125 is also powered by a 125cc four-stroke, single-cylinder engine that is capable of churning out 8 kW of maximum power at 7500 rpm and 10.9 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm.
Finally, the wait is over and TVS has started the deliveries of its Raider 125. A known YouTuber Rider Veer Ji conducted a drag-race between Honda SP 125 and TVS Raider 125 where he could prove that TVS always provides updated powerful performance loaded engines even with its 125cc motorcycles.
Though there is not much difference in the power and torque deliveries of both the motorcycles, still TVS Raider was able to win both the races attempted. TVS has introduced a powerful 125cc motor. The bike as compared to SP125 has a much better pick-up, stability and performance on roads.
In the first attempt, TVS Raider took a long lead at the beginning of the race only and SP125 was not even able to overtake Raider even for once. Though the rider riding SP125 was at 102 kmph still the distance between the two was not coming to an end. The rider on Raider was revving the motorcycle hard with ease and without any hassle. The bike was quite stable and fast on the highway.
When the rider realised that SP125 was left too behind then decided to switch the bikes to see whether it was actually fast or not? We all understand that it obviously depends on the rider and the performance of the bike as well so, let's see now what happens.
After switching the motorcycles with one another, TVS Raider still managed to take the lead. The rider on SP125 tried to take a pull but at the same time, Raider took the pull first. In the second attempt SP125 tried to maintain the same pace as that of Raider 125 for a couple of minutes but again was left behind with just a throttle. Raider has a very smooth performance loaded techy engine. The MotoCorp has designed the motorcycle as a true youth-oriented motorcycle ready to hit its rivals down.
Honda SP125 is an old motorcycle that comes with updated BS6 engine but still lacks a bit with its performance. In both the attempts, the riders on SP tried revving the motorcycle hard but was not able to overtake Raider for once. TVS is a known player for its powerful motors not only with this Raider but with every two-wheeler and three-wheeler.
After the drag race, both the riders simply commented Amazing Performance for TVS Raider. With the entry of a street naked 125cc motorcycle TVS will again set a benchmark in the industry.
