New Hyundai SUV Spotted
The exterior of the Hyundai SUV that was spotted is completely camouflaged, making it difficult to identify the exact model. Nevertheless, based on the information at present, we can still make a few guesses. The test mule resembles the Creta in terms of shape, but it appears to be a little smaller, raising the possibility that it could be the Venue's replacement. According to spy photos, the new SUV's design will probably preserve the general shape of the present Venue or Creta models. It appears to feature a straight front fascia and a solid side profile, both of which will basically stay the same.
The bottom bumper of the new Hyundai SUV features a square radar module that is neatly integrated into it. Upcoming Hyundai SUV Engine Options
What engine and powertrain options will be offered in the upcoming Hyundai SUV is unknown. However, based on the Hyundai lineup as it stands right now, we can make a few assumptions. Three engines are now available for the Creta: a 1.5-liter diesel engine, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine. The Venue, on the other hand, has three different engines: a 1.0-liter gasoline turbocharged engine, a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The new SUV will probably offer few of these powertrain choices.
Verdict: The Hyundai Creta is long overdue for an upgrade, and the brand has already released a facelift of the Creta in international markets last year. However, based on its size, it is also possible that the vehicle spotted in South Korea is the new generation Venue. Despite this, Hyundai has yet to make any official announcements regarding the launch of either SUV. It is expected that the new generation Creta will hit the Indian market early in 2024.
