KTM 390 Enduro R Detailed Review
- The 390 Enduro R features a rather slim design with sleek bodywork, akin to a proper dirtbike. However, being a road-legal motorcycle, it gets a proper headlight, turn indicators, and a tail lamp. The tri-tone orange, white and black livery is the only paint scheme available. The seat is also rather slim, and its unique design will also help it stand out on Indian roads, especially among those who have been itching for a proper dirt bike from Team Orange.
390 Enduro R body specifications:
| Ground Clearance | 272 mm |

- The 390 Enduro R shares the 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder powertrain from the 390 Adventure, producing 45.3bhp at 8500rpm and 39Nm of torque at 6500rpm. Paired to a 6-speed gearbox, it gets an optional bi-directional quickshifter and a slip-and-assist clutch. The gearbox receives internal changes, and the 390 Enduro R also gets a smaller cylinder head, a new airbox and new fuel injectors.
- Sharing its platform with the 390 Adventure, the 390 Enduro R is built on a steel trellis frame with a bolt-on aluminium sub-frame. It hangs off of 43mm WP Apex open-cartridge forks with 200mm of travel and 30-click fully-adjustable compression and rebound damping. The rear makes use of a WP Apex monoshock with 205mm of travel, 20-click rebound damping and 10-click preload adjustability. The frame also makes use of a unique steering head angle, triple clamps with 25 mm handlebar risers, and subframe mounts for off-road use, enhanced handling and control.
- The 390 Enduto R misses out on cruise control, but it otherwise comes with a 4.2-inch TFT screen with a gear-position indicator, along with bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, a USB C-type port, a 4-way joystick, an illuminated switchgear, music streaming, switchable ABS, ride modes and traction control.
