Ford Overview
Not many know that Ford has been present in the Indian car market since 1995! They had initially tied up with Mahindra and the company was termed as ‘Mahindra Ford India Limited’ - cars like Escort and the Ikon were launched under this JV. However, with time, Ford parted ways and went onto get cars like the Figo, Aspire, Endeavour and the very successful EcoSport. Reports now suggest that the Ford-Mahindra JV is once again in place and we could expect future products to use engineering expertise from both the companies. Ford continues to make cars that are high in quality and safety levels and come with assured after-sales peace of mind. The “kuch family jaisi feeling” campaign has been pushed well for the past few years and seems to be working well with new consumers.
