Last Updated on 26th Feb'24: Tesla Model X is the all-electric SUV from the American carmaker with 2 variants namely Long range and the Plaid. It impresses with its swift acceleration of  0-96kmph (0-60mph) sprint in 3.8 seconds whereas the latter takes 2.5 seconds.

Powertrain: Tesla offers the international-spec Model X in two electric powertrains: Long Range and Plaid. While the Long Range variant gets a dual-motor setup, the Plaid variant gets a tri-motor setup. Both variants get an all-wheel-drive system. The former can complete the 0-96kmph (0-60mph) sprint in 3.8 seconds whereas the latter takes 2.5 seconds.

Range: The long range version claims a range of 579 while the Plaid variant claims a range of 547 km.

Dimensions: The overall dimensions of the vehicle are 198.9 inches (5,052 mm) in length, 89.4 inches (2,271 mm) in width with mirrors, and 66 inches (1,684 mm) in height.

Ground Clearance: It comes with a ground clearance of 206 mm.

Features: The Model X features a 17-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, and two wireless charging pads for smartphones. Additionally, it offers an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system for rear passengers and a powerful 22-speaker 960W sound system.

Safety: The vehicle is equipped with passenger and driver airbags, crash sensors, and advanced safety features including Tri Motor, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Front Collision Warning, Side Collision Warning, Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance and Correction, Obstacle Aware Acceleration, Cabin Overheat Protection, In-App Vehicle Location Monitoring, and Lane Change Indicator.

Colors: Tesla Model X is available in 5 colour options - Deep Blue Metallic, Midnight Silver Metallic, Pearl White Multi-Coat, Red Multi-Coat and Solid Black.

Price: The Tesla Model X price is expected to start at ₹ 2.00 Cr.
