Verdict
According to the official figures, the Tata Punch CNG has slightly less mileage than the Exter CNG, but the difference is negligible. On the other hand, the Punch CNG offers more power and torque, which is beneficial for overtaking and in city traffic. Additionally, the Punch CNG comes in five trim options compared to three in the Exter CNG, and its base variant is more than Rs 1 lakh cheaper, which can significantly influence the buying decision.
Ultimately, it comes down to whether the buyer prefers a Korean brand or an Indian brand, as the mileage of both these micro-SUVs is almost the same.
