The new Aprilia SXR 125 and the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 BS6 are maxi-styled scooters. Both these gearless scooters get an all-LED headlamp and a LED taillamp, however, the SXR 125 gets a LED DRL too. Also, the aesthetic appeal of a product is a subjective choice but in general, both these scooters look really good. The SXR 125 is available in four colour options - Matt Blue, Matt Black, Glossy Red and Glossy White. Whereas, the Burgman Street 125 gets five colour shades. They are Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Matte Black, Matte Fibroin Grey, Pearl Suzuki Medium Blue and Pearl Mirage White.

The all-new Aprilia SXR 125 is powered by a BS6 compliant 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 9.9 PS of power at 7700 RPM and 9.7 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a CVT. The Suzuki Burgman Street 125, on the other hand, is powered by a BS6 compliant 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 8.7 PS of power at 6750 RPM and 10 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM and the engine comes mated to a CVT.

SXR 125 vs Burgman Street 125 - Hardware and Features
Both these maxi-styled scooters get telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties on these gearless scooters are performed by a disc brake at the front and at the rear, they get a drum unit along with a combi brake system (CBS) as an additional safety aid. If we talk about features, so both these new scooters get an all-digital instrument cluster that comes loaded with a ton of information. Also, while Burgman gets Bluetooth as standard in top trim, it is available as an option with SXR.
2021 Aprilia SXR 125 vs Suzuki Burgman Street 125 BS6 - Price Comparison
The new 2021 Aprilia SXR 125 BS6 has been recently launched in India at Rs. 1.15 lakhs while the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 BS6 is priced from Rs. 82,700. All the prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. Thus, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is considerably much more affordable than the Aprilia SXR 125.
