BMW Motorrad India launched the new BS6 compliant G310 Twins in the country in October last year and it became the talk of the town. The new BS6 compliant G310 R and the G310 GS BS6 were much more affordable than their BS4 counterparts. However, along with the BS6 upgrade, these affordable BMW motorcycles got a ton of other updates too, though the main reason for their instant popularity was the price cut by the company. The new 2021 BMW G310 R BS6 was launched in India at an introductory starting price of Rs. 2.45 lakhs while the starting price of the G310 GS BS6 was Rs. 2.85 lakhs. All the prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. But now, the introductory price benefits are over and the company has hiked the price of the new 2021 BMW G310 R and the G310 GS BS6. Here are the new prices.

So, as you have seen in the tables above that the prices of these motorcycles have been hiked by upto 5,000 rupees. The price of the new 2021 BMW G310 R BS6 now starts at Rs. 2.50 lakhs while the price of the new BMW G310 GS BS6 now starts at Rs. 2.90 lakhs. All the prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. Though these motorcycles have got a price hike, they are still significantly more affordable than their older BS4 compliant counterparts. For instance, the new BMW G310 R BS6 is still 50,000 rupees cheaper than the old BS4 G310 R while the new G310 GS BS6 is around 60,000 rupees cheaper than the old BS4 BMW G310 GS. Thus, we can say that BMW Motorrad India has done a great job with the aggressive pricing of these motorcycles this time. BMW is also offering 3-years / unlimited kilometres warranty on these new motorcycles and the warranty can even be extended for up to 5 years.
Now, talking about the engine specifications of these motorcycles, so both these new Beemers are now more environment-friendly as they comply with the stringent BS6 emission norms. The new BMW G310 R and the new G310 GS are powered by a BS6-compliant 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor churns out 34 PS of power at 9500 RPM and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The claimed top speed of the motorcycle is 143 kmph and it can go from 0-50 kmph in just 2.5 seconds. These motorcycles now also get a ride-by-wire throttle technology and even an 'electronic throttle grip' (electromotive throttle controller) for improved throttle response. With the recent BS6 update, the company has added the new anti-hopping clutch too (slipper clutch) which is a very nice addition. The BMW G310 Twins now look much more appealing too, thanks to the new colour schemes on offer.
The new G310 R is available in three colour variants. They are Cosmic Black (Black and White), Polar White (Blue and White) and a new Style Sport (Black, White and Red) colour. The new BMW G310 GS BS6 is also available in three colour variants. They are Polar White, Kyanite Blue Metallic (Style Rallye) and Cosmic Black (40 years of GS Edition). The new add-ons also include a new all-LED headlamp, LED turn indicators and daytime-running LEDs, etc. This was all about the new prices of the BMW G310 Twins.
