Since last year, we have seen several spy shots of the upcoming 2021 Mahindra XUV700 in the market and with it, we have figured out several details on our own. Now, Mahindra is actively bringing in updates about the XUV700 on their social media handles and first, we shared light on the High Beam Assist and now the largest sunroof. Mind you, both these features are first in the segment.
The huge panoramic sunroof of the Mahindra XUV300 measures 1360mm x 870 mm. Check out the teaser video here first -
Sharing the mechanicals first of the upcoming SUV then it will come with two engine options - a 2.0L Stallion petrol and a 2.2L mHawk diesel. Both these units will be sourced from the Mahindra Thar but will churn out more power. A 6-speed stick shift will be made as standard whereas the 6-speed auto will be optional. Reports also suggest that the top-spec variant of the XUV700 could be an AWD. Sources reveal that both the engine will generate 380 Nm of peak torque whereas the petrol churns out 190 PS of power and the diesel 180 PS. We are not yet sure of the official figures though.
