Mahindra is gearing up to bring their upcoming SUV, Scorpio N which will be launched on June 27. Ahead of its official launch, the carmaker has teased the interior shots of the Daddy of All SUVs and it gives us a clear image of how the new Scorpio N has grown in size and in terms of premiumness level.
As can be seen in the pictures, the interior of the Scorpio N now looks more upmarket than before and caters to better comfort and convenience features. A two-tone dark tan and black interior colour scheme really stand out.
You now get a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, vertical AC vents and more. The carmaker has also offered subtle silver accents that can be seen on the inside door handles, borders of the centre console and AC vents.

Furthermore, the leather-wrapped steering wheel that can be seen is borrowed from the XUV700 and the new Scorpio N also boasts of Sony 3D surround system. As per Mahindra, the upcoming SUV will also host AdrenoX which offers segment leading immersive features and technology.
Other bits of features that can be seen through the pictures are cruise control, an electric sunroof, roof-mounted AC vents, push-button start/stop, inner grab handles, a semi-digital instrument cluster, leatherette interior, a multi-function steering wheel and more.
Mechanically, the new Scorpio N will be powered by two engine options - 2.0L Stallion petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbocharged diesel motor. Both these engines are offered in the Mahindra Thar as well as XUV700, however, the power and torque figures are different in all three SUVs.

In the Scorpio N, the petrol motor will churn out 168 bhp of power on tap while the diesel motor will be tuned to two figures - 128 bhp power for lower-spec variants and 158 bhp of power for the mid and high-spec variants. Both these engines will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard and a six-speed torque converter automatic as an option.
