To start off with the updates, the 2022 FZS-Fi gets refreshed styling. This includes a new LED taillight with both the Standard and DLX variant, but the latter also gets LED flashers, and 3 new colour options (Metallic Black, Metallic Deep Red and Solid Gray). Some of the design highlights in the DLX variant include chrome duct plating 3D emblem, coloured wheels, and comfortable two-level seats. In comparison, the base model gets just two colour options: Matt Red and Matt Blue.
Both the models come equipped with Yamahas Bluetooth Enabled Connect-X App. This gets you access to connectivity features like Answer Back, Locate My Vehicle, Parking Record & Hazard, along with Riding History. However, mechanically the motorcycle has remained the same.
The 2022 Yamaha FZX-Fi continues with the same air-cooled, 4-stroke, 149 cc, SOHC 2-valve, single-cylinder engine with fuel-injection technology. Power output has remained the same at 12.4 Ps @ 7,250 rpm of power, and 13.3 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The dimensions of the motorcycles also continue unchanged, with the same 13-litre fuel tank, 790 mm seat height, and 1,330 mm wheelbase. The muscular design proportions of the FZS-Fi do make it heavier at 135 kgs, but the telescopic fork up front and the motocross suspension at the rear, keep the ride smooth and going.
