The 2023 KX250 comes with a new lightweight aluminium perimeter frame, a new fine tuned suspension, lighter bolts, petal disc brake, Renthal aluminium fat bar, Kawasakis ERGO FIT adjustable handle and foot peg positions and slimmer shrouds.
If we talk about the engine specifications it gets a 249cc, liquid-cooled engine with factory racer engine tuning. The engine is tuned for high revs with revised processing for the throats of the intake and exhaust ports. The valve spring features a higher spring rate to match a higher rev limit. Also, a revised combustion chamber design and a flatter piston crown contribute to the increased performance.

Additionally, the motorbike has a reworked crankcase design for less weight, improved combustion chamber design and a flatter piston crown to increase performance, hydraulic clutch, electronic start, launch control mode, and simple engine tuning DFI setting data selection (3 map choices).
The new engine makes the bike the most potent KX250 ever created, offering better performance across the board. The new, racer-friendly gearing, updated suspension settings, and new tyres that provide better handling in corners go hand in hand with the increased power. The KX250 becomes an even more potent weapon on the racetrack as a result of these improvements, which collectively result in faster lap times.
Verdict: The KX250X has been specifically made for close-course off-road to rule both desert and woodland race tracks. It will provide riders with the essentials for off-road competitiveness.
