2023 KIA Seltos Top Spec X-Line Variant Started Reaching Dealership - See Images

KIA India has generated excitement in the market by introducing the 2023 Seltos facelift. The company has already started delivering the vehicle to dealerships, just one week after its unveiling. Although the official debut isn't expected to happen for a few months, the pricing information hasn't been made public yet. The top-of-the-line Seltos X-Line edition has recently been sighted in a showroom before the introduction. Here are the highlights of the 2023 KIA Seltos X-Line variant.

2023 KIA Seltos X-Line Variant

The X-Line trim, which includes distinctive features and improvements, stands as the top-of-the-line variant of the Seltos lineup. It has a unique color option in Matte Graphite. While the front profile keeps the same grille as other variants' model and new front LED DRLs and headlamps that match the alterations made to other variants. With its all-black finish on the grille, bumper, and other parts, the X-Line version stands out. Its dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels gloss black highlights on the ORVMs, and roof rails are all visible from the side profile. The X-Line variant's rear also gets the all-black treatment, with a dual exhaust system and a newly styled LED tail lamp cluster. Also, it gets black skid plates at the front and back instead of silver in other variants.

The X-Line variant's interior has a dual-tone design and the choice of an all-black interior with white accents. Due to the leatherette seats and soft-touch materials on the dashboard, the interior rises a premium vibe. The incorporation of panoramic screens, which include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, is one of the noteworthy features. For improved comfort, the X-Line version has dual-zone climate control. On the center console, there are new buttons and knobs that give the design a modern touch. Finally, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof adds to the cabin's opulent atmosphere. Also, the rear seats gets window blinds.

In terms of safety, the notable inclusion in the 2023 Seltos is the Level 2 ADAS. Additionally, the vehicle comes with six airbags, ensuring comprehensive occupant protection. Other safety features include all four disc brakes, ABS with EBD, hill assist control, VSM, ESC, and all five three-point seatbelts among others.

2023 KIA Seltos X-Line - Engine Options

The new 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of peak torque, is the first engine available in the X-Line models. A seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT) is available with this engine. The 1.5-liter diesel engine, which offers 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque, is an alternative engine choice for this version. It is available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Contrarily, the base models have a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and come with a choice of a manual, intelligent continuously variable gearbox (IVT), or an intelligent manual gearbox (iMT).
