Aprilia Tuareg: Will The Leaked Price Hold True As The Final Price Tag?
Recently, the Aprilia website caused quite a stir when it accidentally revealed some details about the Aprilia Tuareg 660, including its prices and colour options. It was swiftly taken down later. It revealed three colour choices: Atreides Black and Canyon Sand priced at Rs 18.85 lakh, and the Evocative Dakar Podium option priced slightly higher at Rs 19.16 lakh.
The pricing seems pretty steep compared to its competitors. For instance, the newly launched Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is priced at Rs 10.30 lakh, the Honda XL750 at Rs 11.00 lakh, and the BMW F 850 GS at Rs 12.95 lakh, with its adventure version at Rs 13.75 lakh. Looking at these numbers, the leaked price doesn't seem reasonable or even a tad expensive. There's speculation circulating that the leaked price might not be accurate either.

Aprilia Tuono 660 And RS660: What To Expect?
Back in 2021, when the Aprilia RS 660 hit the market at Rs 13.39 lakh, it drew criticism for being too pricey compared to others in its class. The reason behind this steep price was its import via the CBU route, which naturally made it costlier. Even today, its competitor, the Ninja 650, stands at a much lower price point of Rs 7.16 lakh. Similarly, the Ninja ZX-6R comes in at Rs 11.20 lakh, making them more affordable options for many riders.
The same story unfolded with the Tuono 660, launched alongside the RS 660, with a price tag of Rs 13.09 lakh. However, there's a hopeful buzz this time around that things might be different. Expectations are riding high that the pricing for these models will be more reasonable this time.
Verdict
The leaked pricing of Aprilia's Tuareg 660 raises concerns about affordability, especially compared to competitors. Anticipation for the RS 660 and Tuono 660 pricing remains reasonable, with hopes for more reasonable figures to attract potential buyers.
