Kawasaki has launched its 2024 Ninja 500, in India, priced at Rs 5.24 lakh. It comes in a sleek Metallic Spark Black colour. Interestingly, it shares the same price as the Ninja 400 and is powered by the same engine found in the Eliminator 500. 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500: Power, Performance, Hardware
The Ninja 550 shares the same engine as the Eliminator, sporting a 451 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin engine that delivers a maximum power of 44 bhp and 42.6 Nm of torque.
It has a 41 mm telescopic fork up front with 120 mm of travel and a Bottom-Link Uni-Trak rear suspension with a gas-charged shock offering 130 mm of travel.
The front brake consists of a semi-floating 310 mm disc with a balanced actuation dual-piston calliper, while the rear brake is a 220 mm disc with a dual-piston calliper.
It holds 14 litres of fuel, while the eliminator only has space for 13 litres.
2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500: Features
The new Ninja 500 sports a fresh look inspired by modern Kawasaki sport bikes like the ZX-6R and Ninja 7 Hybrid. Its redesigned face showcases compact headlights.
In India, the standard model is available, featuring a negative LCD dash with Bluetooth connectivity. However, it lacks keyless ignition, which is exclusive to the SE variant.

Kawasaki Ninja 400: Soon to be Removed?
The new Ninja 500 has hit the market in India with an introductory price of Rs 5.24 lakh, which is the same as the Ninja 400's current price after a discount of Rs 40,000. This has sparked speculation that Kawasaki might quietly replace the Ninja 400 in India with the new model.

The CBU Kawasaki Ninja 500 is priced at Rs 5.24 lakh, noticeably higher than its competitors. It's Rs 2.06 lakh more expensive than the KTM RC 390, Rs 59,000 higher than the Yamaha R3, and Rs 1.14 lakh higher than the Aprilia RS 457.
