Triumph Motorcycles launched the MY24 range of Tiger 900 motorcycle. The brand has launched the Tiger 900 GT & Tiger 900 Rally Pro at Rs 13.95 lakh and Rs 15.95 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. MY24 Triumph Tiger 900 Series
The Triumph Tiger 900 series consists of the 900 GT & the 900 Rally Pro, while both the motorcycles look the same and are made for long-distance touring. The Tiger 900 GT is a more road-oriented model while the Tiger 900 Rally Pro is a more off-road-friendly version. Both the bikes now get updated bodywork, revised ergonomics, new instrument cluster, updated front beak, and tweaked exhaust.
The Tiger 900 series now gets an 888cc, liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine which produces 108 PS of power and 90 Nm of peak torque. The power is now improved by 13% and the torque figure is improved by 9%. The engine is mated to a 6-speed wet-multi plate slipper and assist clutch. Additionally, the engine comes with an iconic T-plane crank configuration. The Tiger 900 GT gets 4 riding modes-- Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. The Rally Pro gets additional Off-road Pro and Rider Programmable modes for added performance.

On the hardware front, the Tiger 900 GT gets Marzocchi 45mm USD forks with rebound and dampening adjustment, the rear also gets Marzocchi suspension. The Tiger Rally Pro on the other hand gets 240mm suspension travel and Showa setup on the front and rear, the front gets 45mm USD forks with preload, rebound, and compression adjustment. Braking duties are handled by twin 320mm floating front disc brakes with Brembo Stylema 4 piston calipers, the rear gets a single 255mm disc brake. Both motorcycles get cornering ABS. For the tyres the Tiger 900 GT gets 100/90-19 Metzeler front tyre and 150/70-17 Metzeler rear tyre with cast aluminum wheels. The Rally Pro version gets 90/90-21 front and 150/70-17 rear tyre by Bridgestone tyres with spoked wheels.
The features of the motorcycles also got an update with a new 7-inch TFT screen with My Triumph connected features for call & SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, all LED lighting, cornering ABS, emergency braking warning lights, and traction control among other features.

Verdict
The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 range comes with lots of significant updates to make the motorcycles more feature loaded and more performance oriented. The motorcycles now feature better fuel efficiency as well as improved dynamics which will appeal more customers.
