Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2: More Than Just A Regular Update
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 has been launched in the country at an introductory price of Rs. 2.99 lakhs, albeit only for the first 1000 customers. Meanwhile, the bike remains the same as before in its cuts, creases, and other hard styling elements. But it gets some fresh neat graphics work on the front forks for a renewed appeal that identifies the Mach 2 version.
While it does get new colorways, there are a few neat updates that have been done nicely like the charging socket lid is now made out of aluminum, ditching the plastic one on the previous gen. Apart from this, the design has been carried forward, but the magic lies somewhere else!
Features: Long List Of New Additions
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 ups the feature game with fresh graphics for the 5.0-inch TFT display. Functionality gets a boost too, with onboard navigation, hill hold control, and the ability to set charge limits. Security features include Find My F77 and Delta Watch, which detects tampering and alerts the rider. For enhanced control, riders can choose from 10 levels of regenerative braking. In terms of safety, you get a dual-channel ABS system, three levels of traction control, fall and towing alert, and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) a world-first for electric motorcycles. The Mach 2 also features an Active Collision Warning System (ACWS) and rear light flashing for added visibility.
Battery And Range: Go The Extra Mile
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 comes in two variants: the standard model and the Recon. The Recon boasts a more powerful 30kW motor and a larger 10.3kWh battery, enabling a range of 323km on a single charge. The standard model gets a 27kW motor and a 7.1kWh battery, offering a 211km range. Riders seeking greater control over energy regeneration will appreciate the Recon's 10 levels of switchable regenerative braking, compared to the standard model's just 3. The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 accelerates from 0 to 60 km/hr in a mere 2.8 seconds and achieves a top speed of 155 km/hr, making it India's fastest electric motorcycle.
For convenient charging, the F77 Mach 2 offers multiple options. Choose from Standard, Boost, or the ultrafast UV Supernova DC fast charger, which can replenish your battery from 20-80% in under 60 minutes.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2: Pricing And Variants
The F77 Mach 2 starts at an attractive Rs. 2,99,000 (ex-showroom) for the first 1,000 customers. The feature-packed F77 Mach 2 Recon comes in at Rs. 3,99,000 (ex-showroom). This tiered pricing structure rewards early adopters with a significant price advantage.
Verdict
This iteration of the F77 makes for a big leap forward than the one introduced in 2022. While it saves the stellar design front just as it was, improvements elsewhere were the ones ost needed. More features, updated battery range, and the subtle other tweaks throughout are enough to keep this electric mover something to talk about for a long time.
