Honda Activa, India's best-selling scooter, has been updated for 2025 and launched at Rs 80,950. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has made its 109.51cc engine compliant with OBD2B and equipped it with a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. 2025 Honda Activa
India's favorite two-wheeler, the Honda Activa, is now OBD2B compliant, meeting government emission regulations. Its 109.51cc engine now produces 5.88 kW (7.99 ps) and 9.05 Nm of torque. Before the compliance, this engine produced 5.77 kW (7.84 ps) and 8.90 Nm of torque. So, the latest model will provide better performance and efficiency. Additionally, the idling start-stop system enhances fuel economy, which is offered with this scooter.
Another big update on the 2025 Honda Activa is the advent of a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and riders can connect their smartphones to it via the HondaRoad Sync app to unlock features like navigation and call/message alerts. Lastly, this scooter now comes with a USB Type-C charging port.
Available in three variants - STD, DLX, and H-Smart, the Activa now comes with alloy wheels in the DLX variant. Customers can choose from six color options: Pearl Precious White, Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.

Verdict
Honda, after making their entire scooter and bike lineup OBD2B compliant, has finally updated their best-seller. This will impact sales, as the Activa now gets features that its rivals have been offering for a long time. However, people who buy the Activa don't really care about the features, because the scooter is synonymous with Honda Activa in India.
