Kawasaki has updated its popular middle-weight super sports bike Ninja ZX-6R in the US market. The updated model is now available with two new colour options. MY25 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Details
While the 600cc super sport segment isn't popular in India, the Western markets are full of buyers for it. One such bike of this segment that remains in continuous demand in the global markets is the Ninja ZX-6R. Kawasaki has recently updated it in the US market with new colours. This update is likely to follow the Indian market in the coming weeks.
Speaking of the new updates, the latest model is now available in two new colours - Pearl Robotic White with Metallic Graphite Gray and Matte Dark Grey with Ebony. Additionally, it is also available in a racing team livery of Kawasaki. Badged 'KRT Edition', the Kawasaki Racing Team graphics in the Lime Green colour with Pearl Blizzard White look stupendous on it.
Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. Mind you, the ZX-6R is loved by the customers because of its powerful inline-four engine. This 636cc engine makes a peak power of 122bhp and a peak torque of 69Nm. This max power output is well controlled with various electronic aids like the Kawasaki Traction Control System and ride modes.
The Indian spec model is sold at a steep price tag of Rs 11.20 lakh. While it's not meant to pull big sales numbers, we're hopeful that Kawasaki will update it sooner or later. Hence, we can safely assume that this new colour update will soon come to India in the coming weeks or months time.

Verdict
The Ninja ZX-6R is definitely a mean machine on the track. However, if you want a smaller engine but an equal fun bike for the road, the Ninja ZX-4RR is launched in India. This small 400cc super sports bike also offers an exhilarating performance for the Indian roads along with the superb build quality and latest technology.
