The Kia Seltos does not need any introduction, having become an overnight success since the day it was launched here back in 2019. The Korean carmaker has now launched the 2025 version, which gets three new variants, including a new base variant.

2025 Kia Seltos: What's New?
The 2025 Seltos does not feature any major design changes, retaining the same core design that we have grown used to seeing. The new base variant is called the HTE (O), which can be had from Rs 11.13 lakh onwards (ex-showroom).
This variant comes equipped with the following things; an 8-inch touch screen system with bluetooth connectivity, a 6-speaker sound system, steering-mounted audio controls, follow-me headlamps, height-adjustable driver's seat, rear A/C vents, and a retractable rear sunshade among other things.

The HTK (O) variant can be had from Rs 12.39 lakh onwards (ex-showroom), and it adds on things like cruise control, 16-inch alloy rims, a panoramic sunroof, a rear wiper/washer, rear defogger, ambient lighting, and a smart key with proximity lock/unlock.
The HTK+ (O) variant is available from Rs 14.39 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). With this variant, you get an electronic parking brake, LED headlamps with dynamic turn indicators, LED fog lamps, auto-fold ORVMs, a smart key with proximity lock/unlock, and ambient lighting. On the outside, it can be differentiated by glossy black finish on the grille and 17-inch alloy rims.
Under the hood, the 2025 Seltos retains the same set of three powertrain choices; the 1.5-litre nat-asp petrol, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and the 1.5-litre diesel. Kia India recently discontinued some diesel iMT variants, which you can check out elsewhere on our website.

Verdict
The Seltos, in its current guise has received another update to keep it fresh before the next-gen model makes its debut sometime in 2026. It continues to be a strong seller for Kia, and given its set of strengths, we don't see a reason why its performance on the sales charts would change.
