2025 MG Comet

MG has launched the 2025 Comet EV with new features and variants. It is now available in five variants: Executive, Excite, Excite Fast Charge (FC), Exclusive, and Exclusive FC, each variant offering something different, catering to the needs of a diverse audience. Every variant is loaded with a set of new features over the previous Comet. The Excite and Excite FC variants now feature a Rear Parking Camera and Power-folding ORVMs. The Exclusive and Exclusive FC variants now get premium leatherette seats and a 4-speaker audio system. At last, the Fast Charge FC variants come equipped with a 17.4kWh battery pack, which gives out 230 km on a single charge.

MG Comet Blackstorm Edition

MG has recently launched the Blackstorm edition of the Comet EV priced at Rs 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom). This edition features some different styling cues along with additional features. The Blakstorm edition offers a starry black exterior with dark and red chrome accents. Moreover, it features black MG badges and Blackstorm embroidered leather seats. Some of the additional features include electrically adjustable ORVMs and a 4-speaker audio system.

Powertrain & Pricing
The 2025 MG Comet EV is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor paired with a 17.3kWh. This motor belts out 42 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. Moreover, it can charge from 0-80% in just 5.5 hours with a 3.3kW charger. While it can go up to 230 km within a single charge. Coming to the most important part, the prices of the MG Comet have been revised by Rs 27,000. The 2025 MG Comet EV is now available at an introductory price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top spec.
