Who doesn't like to have a beefed up, tech-loaded cabin with features that not only add to your comfort and convenience but also some flaunt-worthy additions that make you feel good like when you are out with your friends and you touch that button that slides open that sunroof, absorbing all the natural light inside the cabin. That is what we are going to discuss in this section, but for the Skoda Kylaq, and about the top 5 features that it misses out on (a panoramic sunroof for starters that the XUV 3XO offers) when compared to its rivals. But before we head deeper into the section, make sure you are a part of our 91Wheels Whatsapp Channel, specifically curated for all the avid petrolheads to never miss out on any automotive updates.

1. Panoramic Sunroof
While the Skoda Kylaq offers a sunroof, it's a single-pane unit. In a segment where panoramic sunroofs are becoming increasingly common, as seen in the Mahindra XUV 3XO and Tata Nexon, the Kylaq's single-pane sunroof might be seen as a limitation for some buyers. However, even though the aspirations run high, buyers are okay with a single-pane as well!
2. ADAS
The Skoda Kylaq offers a comprehensive safety package however, it lacks an ADAS suite, which is available in its competitors like the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. While the absence of ADAS might be a minor drawback for some, it doesn't significantly impact the overall safety package of the Kylaq. It is noteworthy that the latest models from the brand score pretty well in crash test ratings and I expect a similar trend here as well.
3. Heads-Up Display
Another supposed miss on the Kylaq is the omission of a Heads-up Display unit which the Maruti Brezza offers and kind-of adds to the convenience. However, this is again something that you can live without and its missing out does not feel like one. You would be okay without it, but having it does add a bit of that extra flair.
4. 360-Degree Camera
While the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue offer a 360-degree camera system for enhanced visibility, the Skoda Kylaq is equipped with a rear parking camera. While the 360-degree camera offers greater convenience and safety, the rear parking camera still provides basic visibility.

5. Dual-Zone Climate
The Skoda Kylaq is pretty rich in its cabin feel and while it offers a long list of convenience features including tech like a wireless charger, a sunroof, ventilated seats, paddle shifters, six airbags, disc brake wiping, and many more. Now coming to the the climate control, it does get an automatic climate control system, but skips out on a dual-zone set-up, which not really dulls its appeal, but is a pretty convenient add-on that you'll find yourself using on a regular basis. Meanwhile, you can find this one on the XUV 3XO, which offers it as a segment-first.
Verdict
Gone are the days when functionality triumphed the aspirations of the buyers and it has flipped over in recent times. People are ready to shell out more for having that feel-good tech on-board, something to flaunt, or just adding to the overall luxury appeal. Since people are willing to pay, brands generally go all in on the higher trims. Although the same is true for the Kylaq as well, but you cannot have everything at once and while it does miss out on some bells and whistles, it has enough to sit at the table with head held high!
