India's second-largest automaker recently launched two new variants of the micro SUV Exter, called S+ (Rs 8.43 lakh) and S(O)+ (Rs 7.86 lakh). Additionally, the S+ is only available with an AMT, while the S(O)+ comes exclusively with a 5-speed manual. Previously, the electric sunroof was only available starting from the SX trim, which is approximately Rs 30,000 more expensive. Now, the Exter is the cheapest SUV in the country with a sunroof option.
As for the engine, it features a 1.2L 4-cylinder Kappa engine that produces 83 PS and 113 Nm of torque. It delivers a fuel efficiency of 19.4 km/l with the manual gearbox and 19.2 km/l with the AMT.
