When Aprilia showcased the RS 457 globally, the existence of a Tuono 457 was hugely implied, given how the Italian bikemaker does things with its high-capacity bike lineup. Aprilia Tuono 457 Details
The Tuono 457 appears a lot different than most of its bigger siblings, and while it looks nice in pictures, we shall reserve our final judgment till we see the bike in the flesh. That said, the naked design does look properly muscular and beefy. The twin headlamps with a winglet-like treatment underneath, followed by the hunky-looking fuel tank, the tank shrouds, there is a healthy mix of chrome and blacked-out bits, and it also comes with an underbelly exhaust.
In terms of hardware, the Tuono 457 receives the same preload-adjustable suspension on both ends; 41mm USD forks with 120mm of travel, along with a monoshock with 130mm of travel. The braking setup also remains the same, featuring a 320mm disc with radially-mounted four-piston ByBre callipers, along with a 220mm rear disc. The 800mm seat height should also be fairly accessible for most riders.
Of course, powering the Tuono 457 will be the same liquid-cooled, 457cc, twin-cylinder engine, producing 46.9bhp at 9400rpm and 43.5Nm of torque at 6700rpm. However, the final drive chain has been shortened to make it more responsive to throttle inputs.
In terms of features, the Tuono 457 will carry over the same 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, three riding modes, ride-by-wire, traction control modes, a bi-directional quick shifter, and dual-channel ABS among other things.

Verdict
The Tuono 457 will be Aprilia's second motorcycle on the 457cc platform for India, and not only will it make the Italian manufacturer more accessible to the public, it will also increase its desirability factor and help in Aprilia's overall recognition and growth in India.
